Trees for the Future

This organisation is beginning to grow on me as they use fast growing trees to supply for their needs, give work and replant areas with trees to save a bit of earth. .:)   Trees for the Future Farm animals benefit from a forest garden, too. These goats in Uganda are snacking on leaves trimmed from one of the fast-growing tree varieties that are key early components of our agroforestry projects. These trees stabilize and fortify the soil and provide shade for crops. And, their branches grow back fast after being cut for firewood…or for a goat’s lunch.
